I am using Sdr Sharp, and digipan PSK, 31 software. The frequency I am using the frequency, 7.070 MHz, and I’m also using a VB virtual cable. I am picking up signals, but they don’t make sense i.e. just random letters. I have used three different PSK 31 software, but none of them are decoding in the way that they should.
I don’t know what the volume levels are supposed to be on my Soundcard. I hope this helps, if you need any more information, please let me know

Based on the information provided, it seems that the user is experiencing issues with decoding signals in DigiPan software while using Sdr Sharp and a virtual cable. They have tried multiple PSK 31 software but none are decoding correctly. They are unsure about the volume levels on their soundcard.

I’ve tried everything to decode my PSK 31 signals, but all I’m getting is garbage.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, so I’m thinking of just giving up. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

No, this is not a spam message. From the question, it seems like you are having trouble decoding your PSK 31 signals using DigiPan for Windows, and you are seeking help to understand why you are only seeing garbage on your screen. It would be helpful to provide more specific information about the issue you are facing, such as your setup, any error messages received, or steps you have tried. This would enable others to provide better assistance and help resolve your problem.

Yes, there is a manual available for DigiPan. You can access it by going to the "Help" menu within the program or by visiting their website. Additionally, there are online tutorials and forums available to help you learn how to operate the package.

Try this solution from the developer:

First quit any running version of DigiPan, locate digipan.ini in the Windows directory (folder), delete digipan.ini, and then install DigiPan. You can also follow this procedure if DigiPan does not seem to be working correctly anymore. After any reinstallation, you will have to re-configure your personal data and any custom macros.

I have been out of HR for 6 years and now I have a great interest in PSK31. I downloaded DigiPan after watching K7AGE's youtube. My only problem before I get my Kenwood 450 involved is that I can't get anything to come up after right clicking the 'Waterfall config'. I am running Windows Vista. What can I do?

DigiPan is an old application developed by DigiPan Team. Unfortunately, the last update for the program was released in 2004 and the software is not fully compatible with the latest Windows platforms. In order to fix the problem, I suggest you download the latest version of the software from the rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="http://www.digipan.net/">official web page and install it using Windows Vista Compatibility Mode.

Currently, DigiPan works only on the Windows platform while the Hamsphere Mobile is just an Android application. You can't correlate these two or migrate one app from an operating system to the other. However, there are emulators nowadays that allow you to run Android on Windows with support for the Play Store market to be able to install applications.

Using a Yaesu FT-991A with USB drivers installed (and both are working OK with WSJT-X, enhanced CAT port com 9 and normal port com 8), on Digipan 2 I can receive OK with rec and transmit set to virtual sound card in the Yaesu seen thru (I'm guessing) com 8, but PTT apparently uses com 9 port. When I try to configure PTT to com 9, I get msg: "error opening com 9", and PTT does not work when I try to transmit from Digipan. I've pretty much tried all of settings for the port from control panel. No help. Also tried using the enhanced port com 8. No error then but no matter settings of RTS/DTR there is still no PTT function. Any ideas? TNX
